Moving into new seasons, I wanted to clarify some brand separation happening.
I’ve been in business for myself since I was 19. I started my entrepreneurial efforts as a nanny and piano teacher. I don’t nanny anymore, but I do still teach lessons. I can’t believe it’s been nearly 15 years and my students have grown to over 100 served.
That being said. I’m getting married and my love Eli has committed to doing this life with me. He offers guitar lessons and also created a bar scene course. We decided to combine our teaching services under one brand Let Your Music Sing by Jack and Gin Music. Let Your Music Sing is where I will now post about various teachings from us that is music related. Because of what I’ve built over nearly 15 years, I’m intentional about who I partner with—and I’ve chosen Eli. We we are getting married and building an empire together. So I want to model what it means to combine forces.
Next, I started working as a freelance marketing contractor in my early 20s. I was very successful in this venture before I even graduated college. It was my main source of income for a decade and empowered me to stay home with my young children while also paying my college and household bills. Now with Eli, we can offer audiobooks and jingles under the marketing umbrella—because of his fantastic production skills—along with my custom marketing services such as copywriting, social media marketing, consulting, advertising and more. We have called this Salty South Media.
Jack and Gin is exclusively for our original creations and the world we have created together. Salty South Media and Let Your Music Sing are titles of Jack and Gin songs, and we aren’t stopping just with those.
Sandi MarLisa is for my original music, books, philanthropy, community activism, and daily shenanigans. I’ve used my platform and personal financial investment to grow all of the above brands to what you see today, but now I’m proud to announce these brands can now stand on their own two legs. And I’m so excited that Eli is my partner not only in life—but in these ventures! You will not be seeing much of these ventures on my personal page, beyond answering questions. But please rest assured I’m still in the fray working as I always have.

Jack and Gin is an indie Southern rock duo bringing coastal storytelling, powerhouse vocals, electric guitar, and piano-driven soul to the stage. Led by Sandi “Gin” MarLisa and Eli “Jack” Ingram, their music blends Southern rock, folk, blues, and raw, rootsy charm into a sound they call Salty South.
